As an Integrative Therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Existential, Solution-focused and CBT informed theoretical approaches, allowing me to work flexibly, in supporting you.
I can work with you in a long-term, open ended way, or within a short-term solution focused framework, dependent on your needs. I offer online and face-to-face sessions.
I am a registered therapist and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a therapist, my practice is guided by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As an integrative psychotherapeutic therapist, I offer a flexible way of supporting you, with the benefit of being able to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your personal needs. I have been trained to work with Psychodynamic and Humanistic (Person Centred, Gestalt and Existential), and also use Solution focused and CBT informed approaches. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling.
I can work with you in a long term, open ended, or short term solution-focused framework; this is dependent on the issues that you are seeking support with. I generally recommend that we meet for a number of sessions and then review the therapy to decide how we move forward.
Sessions take place on a weekly basis, which supports the building of trust and containment in the therapeutic space, supporting the process of therapy. They can be held face-to-face, online or via telephone. I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation, without obligation, which is an opportunity for us to discuss your support needs and for you to find out more about how I practice, to help us to decide if we are happy to work together.
How it works
The quality of the relationship between counsellor and client is central to integrative therapy and the process of healing. As trust develops in the therapeutic relationship, the client is able to reflect on difficult experiences, with the counsellor alongside, providing non-judgmental, consistent and empathic presence.
Counselling can offer new perspectives and help the client to gain insight into the ways in which their difficulties are connected to life experiences, life choices, or the ways in which they relate to others.
Some Benefits of Counselling
I offer support with a range of issues and life experiences, which include:
I offer an initial FREE consultation session of 20 to 30 minutes, without obligation. This is an opportunity for us to meet to talk a little about the issues that you would like help with, You can ask me any questions you have about the therapy process and I can also explain how I practice, so that we can decide if we are happy to work together.

Ensuring your Privacy During Sessions:
To protect your privacy, I recommend that clients do not use a shared or public computer, or device for online sessions. Be mindful of the space in which you choose to hold a telephone or online counselling session, avoiding public areas where you may be overheard by others.
In an Emergency:
Please note that Counselling is NOT an emergency support service; if you are in crisis, you should go to your GP or your nearest A&E department.
